Parador Soria
 

The Parador Soria (official name is Parador Antonio Machado) sits atop a hill and commands extraordinary panoramic views of the monumental town and of the river Duero.  Its splendid large windows are perfect for an incredible view out over the unique landscape below.

The shadow of Antonio Machado, present throughout the town, can also be appreciated in the Soria Parador, which displays photographs and poems of the Sevillian author in many of its common rooms.  The interior of the Parador Soria has a very friendly appearance.  The wooden floors and furniture offer a special grace to its common rooms, which are favored by plants, paintings and engravings.  The majority of the bedrooms enjoy peaceful views of the Duero valley.  The restaurant, with a modern appearance, comforts the traveler with good garlic soups 'a la soriana' and exquisite French beans, without forgetting the typical 'migas' (fried breadcrumbs) and local roast lamb.
