Parador Benavente
The Parador Benavente (official name is Parador Rey Fernando II De Leon) is a Renaissance style castle/palace, and was once the Seat of Parliament. The wonderful Torre del Caracol is part of what is left of the walls that once surrounded the town. The Parador is located at the edge of a small park where the local folks take their evening paseo - on the other side of which is the pleasant old-quarter of the town of Benevente.
Parador Benavente combines sumptuous public spaces with comfortable bedrooms. It is surrounded by gardens and green spaces.
