First and foremost, of course, is the incomparable Alhambra.

The Alhambra in Granada is one of humanity's great monuments.  It should not be missed.

This is architecture that is at once sensual, imaginative and inspiring.  The old Nasrid sultan's palace and the surrounding grounds, including the Generalife gardens, are absolutely enchanting - the stuff of fairy tales.  Moorish art and architecture reached a spectacular and wondrous pinnacle here in Granada.   Nearing the end of their centuries-long occupation of this southern part of the Iberian peninsula, the Nasrid dynasty's artists and architects had achieved a marvelous style.

Because it is one of the world's "must-see" destinations, and arguably the most important medieval monument in Europe, it has become one of the most visited attractions in the world. You most definitely need to make your reservations in advance!

We recommend a guided tour in a small, personalized group.

In this way, you will get the added historical touches that will flavour your experience in a manner that just tramping through the grounds could never provide.

On this tour, your guide will take you to the most important halls and courtyards of the Alhambra including; the Patio de los Arrayanes (myrtle courtyard), the Patio de los Leones (lion courtyard), the Salon of the Embajadores (ambassador’s hall), and the Sala de los Abencerrajes - all the while recounting to you the fascinating and romantic history, and the stories and legends that make this such a rare and special place.

In addition, you'll also visit the Alcazaba fortress, the Royal Baths, the Palace Gardens and the Palace of Charles the Fifth.

And that's not all . . .

The visit will then continue to the Generalife, situated next to the Alhambra, and which was a place of leisure and recreation for the Moorish kings of Granada.  In the height of the summer heat, the whole royal entourage would pack up and move the relatively short distance up to this higher and cooler area.

The Generalife contains magnificent gardens with a dizzying variety of plants and flowers. It has numerous fountains and waterways that bring the melting water down from the snowy peaks above.  The visit includes two further courtyards, the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana.

 Flamenco Show

Get in contact with the roots of Flamenco and discover a historical quarter in Granada, the Sacromonte.

An unique opportunity to watch a genuine flamenco show at its best. Any visit to Granada would not be complete without visiting the Sacramonte and seeing live authentic gypsy dancing.

From the Sacromonte, the Alhambra stands majestically beneath the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and to the right you have a bird's eye view of the rest of Granada. The gypsy flamenco evening accurately encapsulates the essence and colourful ambience of this historically famous area of Granada.

We provide a free drink of your choice to consume during the performance, or a typical Andalusian dinner.

The cave "La Canastera" specialises in Zambra that is normally performed by a gypsy family. The performance represents the rich tradition of gypsy folklore. The Zambra is generally happy, enchanting and full of the abundant grace exuded by the gypsies.

Introduction:

Cordoba is a captivating city with many attractive monuments. Begin by visiting the Catholic Cathedral, converted within an original Mosque when the Christians conquered Cordoba in 1236. With nearly one thousand pillars, the original Gothic style is combined with Baroque and Renaissance elements. Remarkable are the Cardinal's Chapel and its treasure, including a monstrance of Enrique de Arfe, an ivory crucifix of Alonso Cano and important sculptures and paintings.

Prepare to be amazed!

Next visit of the old Jewish Quarter, going back to the time of the Romans and Goths, you will notice many important monuments reminding you of the most important sons of Cordoba: Roman philosopher Seneca, Arabian philosopher Averroes and Jewish philosopher Maimonides. Here you can also find one of the few synagogues existing today in Spain, built in 1315.
